Kenson Alik

Educator

Kenson Alik earned his MEd degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2009 and currently serves as a part-time teacher at the Hawaii State Department of Education. He is involved in the Micronesian Education for Liver Wellness Program (MELWP), which provides free "talk story" sessions to raise awareness about hepatitis B in the Polynesian community through multiple social mediums, using over 70 cultural languages to connect with over 1100 community members.

Kenson documents his experience with HBV and discusses his personal journey to advocacy. Only his introduction was recordable due to technical difficulties, but the entirety of his content is available through his presentation slides.
